Again, if anything, it should be treated as having sort of the same role as Guards Rifles and the Stuart. If anything, the Puma (and Stuart) are closer in function to Guards Rifles: they won't bring down armor on their own very often, but they have special functions against armor (buttoning, aimed shot, engine shot, etc.)īut IMO, Puma is neither as fragile as the Kubel in comparision of roles, nor is it a P4 equivalent. The Puma is in a category with the Stuart: light armor with special abilities to help take down enemy tanks. it costs less, takes less damage, and doesn't pack much punch versus infantry. The Puma is not the P4 of the OkW, not even in function. So, the Puma is as fragile as the Kubel, respectively, yet is the P4 of the OkW? And, honestly, I don't think I took out any important context. Originally posted by Ehre412: The puma is the PIV of the okw, don't think of it as the 222, that's not the role its meant to fill. See how you only defend one side? you are a fanboy. i have used pumas and its ability to make away while damaging pretty decently out of a sherman. when you are comparing a kubel as a fragile unit to a puma then you are wrong my friend. unless a smart american player uses the ground attack to hit it through its smoke. (how is that even possible?) puma can smoke its way out and can often live. But i'm sure you figured that out with over 1500 hours of play. But again, i would caution you against sending 1 unit or a blob of units from 1 direction at a hard counter. The same strat can be used by the USF or Soviet player to take them down. Only with micro and flanking do they succeed. Trade fire 1 on 1 with any one of the two units, Kubel v. Dearest sam, it's unclear what you're quoting? "another fragile units" never appears in the above text. this is not and never has been a viable strat.
